It’s no exaggeration to say she was the photographer who most influenced “Confession Video.” In particular, from the mid-90s to the early 2000s, she photographed numerous New York skaters. While “zines” are now commonplace in Japan, it was the many zines she created that instilled that concept in us. Today, those zines are extremely rare, and it’s safe to say there’s virtually no chance of ever seeing them. This book is a compilation of her serialized work in Warp Magazine. It features extremely rare photographs of the early Zoo York crew and others, accompanied by her memories. While her subjects aren’t limited to skaters, she is someone you absolutely must know about. I pay my respects to this great pioneer.
